This coverage offers 12 sessions of counselling within the first 12 weeks after an accident.  ICBC pays $133.35/session with the client paying the remaining portion.  Sessions are sometimes extended with permission.  This coverage requires an active claim number.

FNHA Counselling

This coverage offers counselling sessions to individuals who are First Nations, Inuit, or Metis. There is no additional fee to the client. You may click here for more information to see if you qualify. If you think you may qualify, the next step is to have a free 15-minute consult with a counsellor. Your counsellor will then apply for your funding.

Metis Nation Counselling

All of our counsellors are able to direct bill for 10 sessions of counselling for anyone who qualifies under this category. The client does not pay any fee.

Do you have extended health benefits?

Most insurance plans provide some coverage for counselling, but they often specify which set of credentials they will cover.  Check with your insurance plan to see whether you are covered for a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).  Make sure you find out what is your total coverage for the year.  Do they pay for the full session fee or is there a limit to what they will cover for each session?  Do your benefits renew on January 1st or on another date?

If you are using extended health benefits, you will need to pay for your counselling session in full and submit the receipt to your insurance provider.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Payments are made through Jane App with a credit card.  Jane is a lovely, North Vancouver company with high security standards and Canadian servers.  If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact us to make other arrangements.
